2012 ALL-WCC HONORABLE MENTION
2013 Indoor: Played in 83 sets … Had a season-high of 12 kills and attack percentage of .379 against Loyola Marymount on Nov. 23 … had a double-double against Portland on Oct. 31 with 10 kills and 11 digs … finished with 91 kills, 25 blocks, and 13 digs for the year … ended the season with an overall average of 1.42 points per set.
2012 Indoor: Earned All-WCC Volleyball freshman team honors and honorable mention honors…finished second on the team with 355 kills, averaging 3.48 per set which was the 4th best in the West Coast Conference…finished second on the team in points with 404.5…two best performances in kills-aces-digs-blocks were at UC Davis on Sept. 11, with 26-0-9-1 and at Gonzaga on Oct. 4, with 25-0-8-2.
Personal: Daughter of Sylvia Schippers and Jan de Vries… born in February of 1992 in Heerlen, Netherlands… graduated from Calandlyceum high school in Amsterdam… lists favorite sports hero as Malgorazata Glinka… nickname is “Es”… goal for the season is to become the best volleyball player she can be and to contribute to the team… chose USF because of the head coach, Gilad Doron… lists most important person she’s ever met as Avital Selinger… after she graduates she plans on playing volleyball in Europe.
