Dons Sign Two to National Letters of Intents

Head women's golf coach Sarah Glynn has announced Kesaree (Pearl) Rojanapeansatith of Bangkok, Thailand and Joan Soewondo (Laguna Nigel, CA / Dana Hills HS) have signed national letters of intent to attend the University of San Francisco next fall.

Rojanapeansatith is currently the No. 1 ranked junior player of the Thai Junior Golf Circuit. She is a multiple-winner on the Asian Junior Tour and won her age group division at the 2009 TaylorMade World Golf and the 2012 Optimist International Junior Golf Championships. She currently attends Harrow International School in Bangkok.

"Pearl is a very solid all-around player," said Glynn. "She is a great putter and has a very calm demeanor about here which allows her to handle any adversity really well. She has a strong work ethic and will add a lot to our team culture."

One of Southern California's top junior players, Soewondo tied for first at the 2015 TTC Soboba Springs Hills Qualifier, one of her six top-10 finishes on the Southern California PGA Junior Tour. She was also the medalist at the South Coast League Championships as a junior.

"Joan is coming off a really solid summer where she elevated her game to the next level," said Glynn. "She had multiple top-10's on the AJGA circuit. What I love about Joan is her quiet, competitive nature. I believe she will have an immediate impact next year."
