SAN BRUNO, Calif. – For the first time in her career,
Eva Pett of the University of San Francisco women's golf team has been named West Coast Conference Women's Golfer of the Month, announced by the league Tuesday afternoon.
Competing in one tournament in February, Pett secured her first individual title of the season, her second of her career, at the Causeway Invitational on Tuesday, Feb. 24, at Del Paso Country Club.
Pett paced San Francisco throughout the two-day event, recording a season-low seven-under par 209 (73-67-69). Following a 73 in the first round of the tournament, Pett posted back-to-back sub-70 rounds, including a five-under-par 67 in round two. Pett was also one of five participants to record double-digit birdies as she totaled 10 throughout the three rounds.
In three tournaments to begin the spring portion of the 2025-26 campaign, Pett has recorded a 72.8 scoring average and registered 24 birdies, while earning three top-20 finishes.
For San Francisco, this monthly award marks the first for the program this season.
