Watch:
"Andrea Ka, Program Changer"
SAN FRANCISCO – There is more to watch in the San Francisco Bay Area tonight than playoff basketball and hockey. The latest installment of "Behind the Mask," USF Athletics' cable television show, debuts on Comcast SportsNet California at 5:30 p.m.
The show highlights all of USF's 15 varsity sports at takes viewers beyond the game through feature storytelling from the Dons' Emmy award winning Director of Video
Katie Morgan and her team.
One of this month's vignettes recalls recent graduate
Andrea Ka's journey from Cambodia to France to San Francisco. During her time with the Dons, the program has reached heights never seen before, and Ka has had the opportunity to represent not only her school and the city, but also her home country of Cambodia in international competition as her tennis career continues to blossom.
"Dre has made such an impact on this program," said head coach Hilary Somers. "Not just while she was here, but it's like a new standard has been set … all these firsts for us in the years she's been here. It's really gratifying. I just feel so fortunate to have been able to coach a player of that level, and coach a person like Dre." [

The bonds of family are strong, and powerful. The Giarratano family is highlighted not only on the baseball diamond but off the field. Playing for his father Nino,
Nico Giarratano has become a staple for the Dons and was recently named this year's West Coast Conference defensive player of the year.
Freshman
Hugh Nicklason is profiled in the Dons Spotlight. The Aussie talks about the drive and desire to become a senior athlete that can represent his country, and what his stop on the Hilltop racing for
Helen Lehman-Winters means for that journey. Nicklason is coming off his first appearance in the NCAA Preliminary Championships last weekend.
As always, the show concludes with Playmakers, highlighting all the action from the previous month on the field court, and around the track, featuring some top plays and scenes from the close of the spring sports season.
