SAMMAMISH, Wash. – The University of San Francisco women's golf team captured fourth place at the Edean Ihlandfeldt Invitational on Tuesday. The Dons finished with team score of 915 at the par 72, 5,980 yard Sahalee Country Club.
USF wrapped up the two-day tournament with a third-round score of 317, going 27 over par. The Dons finished the tournament with 152 pars and 24 birdies over the two-day tournament. USF finished third best average score on the par-four holes, averaging 4.27 for the tournament.
Leading the Dons was senior
Vanessa Ha, Ha cracked the top-10 finishing with a three-day score of six over par, 222. She finished today's round with a one-over 73, one of the lower rounds carded on the day by any golfer.
Samantha Gong finished tied for 16
th with a nine-over 225.
Joan Soewondo finished tied for 38
th with a 20-over 236.
Pearl Rojanapeansatith finished in 46
th for the Dons with a three-day score of 241.
Tournament host Washington took home the team title. They posted a seven-over par 871 after three rounds. The individual champion went to BYU's Kendra Dalton who finished four-under with a 212, she was one of just three players to finish the tournament under par.
The Dons will return to action on October 30 when they travel to Santa Ana, Calif., for the UC Irvine Invite, which will be held at the Santa Ana Country Club.
