COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho – Following the opening day of the Coeur D'Alene Collegiate, the University of San Francisco women's golf team finds itself tied for ninth place with a two-round score of 577. Leading the team after two rounds is senior
Vanessa Ha.
After 36 holes, Ha finished with a day one score of 141, which has her tied for 15
th on the leaderboard. Ha was one over on the opening 18 and shot two-under 69 on the final 18 holes.
Emily Laskin and
Samantha Gong are both tied for 30
th after 36 holes with a two-round score of 145. Laskin finished even par after the first 18, but shot a three over 74 in the second round. While Gong began the tournament two over after the initial 18, she followed that up with an even par 71 on the second 18.
Pearl Rojanapeansatith began the second round tied for 12
th overall after an even par opening round. She finished the day tied for 34
th with a two-round score of 146.
Joan Soewondo currently sits tied for 77
th with a two-round score of 154.
Colorado is in first place overall as a team, after 36 holes they are currently -16 under with a team score of 550. The Buffaloes Kirsty Hodgkins sits atop the leader board after 36 holes with a two-round score of 133.
The Dons will play the final round of the Coeur D'Alene Collegiate hosted by Gonzaga tomorrow morning at 8:00 a.m.
