TOMORROW'S GAME
The Dons enter Saturday's contest riding a two-game winning streak after defeating Pacific 69-97 on Thursday evening.
Frankie Ferrari got the Dons in gear scoring 10 of the Dons first 14 points in the win. USF is 12-10 on the year and 4-5 in the WCC. As a team, they are averaging 69.3 points per game while shooting 41.4 percent from the field. On the road this season the Dons are 2-4, their last road contest came in the disappointing 67-65 loss at the hands of LMU at Gersten Pavilion on Jan. 11. Gonzaga enters the game fresh off a 95-79 win over Portland on Thursday. They've won two-straight after falling at home to Saint Mary's 74-71 on Jan. 18. The Bulldogs are ranked No. 15 in both the AP and the Coaches Poll. Six players are averaging double figures for the Bulldogs, and are being led by Johnathan William's 13.5 points per contest.
THE SERIES
The Dons and Bulldogs have squared off 78 times with the Bulldogs owning a 56-22 advantage in the series that dates back to the 1961 season. The Bulldogs have won 12-straight against the Dons, earlier in the year the Bulldogs defeated the Dons 75-65 at War Memorial at the Sobrato Center on Jan. 13.
