SAN FRANCISCO —The University of San Francisco's men's soccer team is proud to announce that Sean Bowman has been named to the 2018 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division 1 Men's All-West Region Team. 

Bowman, a senior midfielder, was named to the third team. A two-time All West Coast Conference honoree, this is Bowman's first career All-Region award. Bowman was one of 33 student-athletes from across the country to receive this prestigious award from The United Soccer Coaches organization.

The senior leader appeared in 16 matchups and made starts in 12 games. Bowman was an extraordinary player for the Dons offense after leading in four different statistical categories. He led the team with six goals, 43 shot attempts, 18 shots on goal and 12 points. Bowman scored game-winning goals against No. 8 UCLA, No. 7 Portland, Gonzaga and Santa Clara. Bowman's eye-catching performances' was named WCC Player of the Week award earlier in the season and finished off the season with the All-WCC Second Team award.
