SAN BRUNO, Calif. — The University of San Francisco men's soccer team collected six West Coast Conference All-Academic Awards on Tuesday as announced by the conference office. Junior
Sandro Bradara was named to the 11-person WCC All-Academic Team with five others earning Honorable Mention accolades.
Bradara, an International Business major with a 4.00 grade point average, played in 13 games making eight starts for the Dons in 2019. He finished the season taking seven shots with six on goal – one resulting in a goal scored against Cal State Fullerton.
Zyan Andrade,
Ashish Chattha, Taiki Kajatani,
Cameron Martin, and
Ruben Stuiver all earned WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention honors. Martin joins Andrade as one of three players on the list with a 4.0 GPA. This is the second time Stuiver has earned honorable mention honors and the first time for Andrade, Chattha, Kajatani, and Martin.
At the conclusion of each athletics season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average while also being a significant contributor to her team.
