SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -- The University of San Francisco Athletics Department is proud to recognize the recent achievements of the USF video department.
Led by former Director of Video Katie Morgan and Creative Media Specialist
Woo Nguyen, the duo was awarded an Emmy this past weekend for long form content in the Education/Schools area.
Specifically, Morgan and Nguyen produced the feature film "Stevie Gould's Healing Journey", which is a part of USF's Behind the Mask video series. Notably, the courageous story of Gould and his path to recovery as a victim of sexual assault as well as his efforts to help fellow victims and protect young people from predators were highlighted in this feature piece.
Originally airing in August 2021, the feature was re-broadcasted in April of this year to coincide with Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
