FAIRFAX, Calif. - Suiting up for their fourth tournament in four weeks, the University of San Francisco men's golf team finished sixth overall at the Alister MacKenzie Invitational to begin the week, which was hosted by California at Meadow Club.

TOURNAMENT RESULTS:
- Through the first round of play, the Dons were in second place after shooting 270 as a team after round one. Following round two, the green and gold remained in the top five as USF sat at 20-under through 36 holes.Â
- Individually, Ben Partridge sat in third place at 11-under (65, 66) while Renato Naula was also in the top 25 as he tied for 24th at 4-under (68, 70).
- Rolling into day two, Partridge remained in the top ten to close out the tournament as he shot 1-under on Tuesday to tie for seventh overall at 12-under-201 (65, 66, 70). Climbing from a tie in 27th to 13th place, Jakob Melin shot 6-under in round three to finish at 9-under-204. Notably, the reigning WCC Newcomer of the Year has now finished in the top 15 in all four tournaments so far this year.
- For Naula, the sophomore would go on to tie for 34th after finishing 2-under-211 (68, 70, 73). Additionally, Svante Palmgren tied for 58th at 3-over-216 (67, 73, 76), Harry Brown tied for 71st at 7-over-220 (72, 69, 79) and Jackson Rothwell tied for 79th at 15-over-228 (77, 78, 73).
- Statistically, Melin had the fifth-most birdies with 17 while Partridge was right behind him with 16, good for sixth-most.
UP NEXT:
San Francisco will close out their fall schedule at the end of the month when they head to Carmel Valley for the Cal Poly Invitational at The Preserve Golf Club on Monday, Oct. 30 and Tuesday, Oct. 31.
