PORTLAND, Oreg. - Concluding the regular season on the road, the University of San Francisco men's soccer team (8-3-5, 2-2-2 WCC) heads north this weekend to face off against No. 13 Portland (11-4, 4-2 WCC) this Saturday night at Merlo Field.

DONS AT A GLANCE:

• With a chance at the postseason still alive, San Francisco is currently tied for fourth in the conference with LMU at eight points, holding a conference record of 2-2-2 and an overall record of 8-3-5.
• After a dominant 3-1 win over No. 20 Loyola Marymount, Ramon Munoz was named WCC Defensive Player of the Week as he scored his first goal as a Don while contributing to keeping the Lion offense to only three shots on target. 
• Gabriel Bracken Serra has had a strong season this fall as the Berkeley native added two more assists against LMU to help push the Dons past the Lions. Overall, he has a total of five assists to go along with six goals on the season as he leads the team with 17 points. 

SCOUTING THE PILOTS:

• In their most recent match, Portland secured a 3-0 win over Saint Mary's on the road with three different players scoring. 
• The Pilots are currently ranked third in WCC play with 12 points and they remain unbeaten at home so far this year with a 9-0 record. 
• Offensively, two Portland players lead the conference in goals - Jacob Babalai is first with 12 goals while Buba Fofanah is second with nine goals. 

SERIES HISTORY:

•  Overall, Portland leads the all-time series against San Francisco, 14-7-2. Last time out, the Pilots topped the Dons, 1-0, at Negoesco Stadium on Oct. 8, 2022. Notably, USF's last win in Portland came in a 3-1 victory on Oct. 29, 2017.
