SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Set for another local competition, Eva Pett will return to the course for the Dons this week as the freshman will represent the University of San Francisco women's golf team at the Silicon Valley Showcase at Green Hills Country Club in Millbrae to begin the week.

DONS AT A GLANCE:

• Playing in her second tournament in as many weeks, freshman Eva Pett will be the lone competitor for USF this week as the first year Don will compete as an individual at the Silicon Valley Showcase at Green Hills Country Club in Millbrae.
• Overall, the event will feature nine teams, including two in Golfstat's NCAA Women's Division I Top 25, and 54 total student-athletes. Beginning with an 8:30 am shotgun start on Monday morning, the first two rounds (36 holes) will be played on Monday followed by the final round (18 holes) wrapping up on Tuesday.
• Notably, Pett has participated in seven tournaments so far this year, which includes two top 25 finishes individually. Impressively, her best finish as a Don came at the Golf Iconic Classic in Las Cruces, N.M. from Oct. 3-5 as the freshman tied for sixth overall with a three-round score of 2-under-214 (73, 70, 71).

FAN INFORMATION:
Admission to the Silicon Valley Showcase is free, however ticket reservations are required as spots are limited. Food will be available to purchase, cash only, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Parking will be limited and located off-site with a shuttle service provided beginning at 6:30 a.m. and ending at 6:30 p.m. The parking lot is located at the northwest corner of Richmond Ave. and Magnolia Dr. (west of the Living Spaces store). Look for signs for "Shuttle Pick Up". Shuttles will run every 15-20 minutes.
