UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. – The University of San Francisco women's golf team began the 2025-26 season in the Pacific Northwest as it earned an 11th-place finish at the Leadership and Golf Invitational on Tuesday afternoon at Chambers Bay Golf Course.
TOURNAMENT RESULTS:
- Eva Pett led San Francisco throughout the tournament, posting an even-par 216 (74-73-69) and earning a tie for seventh place out of 84 competitors. Rising 10 spots on the player leaderboard on the final round of the tournament, Pett shot an impressive three-under par 69 with four birdies and one bogey.
- In her first-ever collegiate tournament, Erica Villegas finished in a tie for 31st place with a nine-over 225 (75-79-71). Throughout the event, Villegas recorded seven birdies and one eagle while shooting a one-under par 71 in the third round.
- Jillian Leh and Melia Gustavson placed 50th (14-over par 230) and 57th (15-over par 231), respectively, while Rodaylin Mina rounded out the scoring in a tie for 66th with an 18-over par 234.

San Francisco returns to action when it competes in the Ron Moore Intercollegiate on Friday, Oct. 3 – Sunday, Oct. 5 at the University of Denver Golf Club at Highlands Ranch.
