LIHUE, Hawaii – The University of San Francisco women's golf team wrapped up the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational Tuesday afternoon, finishing in ninth place with an 11-over-par 875 (295-295-285) at the Ocean Course at Hokuala.
TOURNAMENT RESULTS:
- After posting two straight seven-over-par rounds, San Francisco responded with a stellar three-under-par 285 in the final round on Tuesday, with three golfers shooting even par or better.
- Riana Mission climbed the player leaderboard on the final day as she shot a three-under-par 69, the sixth time she has posted under 70 in a round. Mission completed the tournament in a tie for 12th place with a two-under-par 214 (74-71-69), her fourth under-par tournament this season.
- Improving throughout the three days, Yvonne Shang shot a three-under-par 69 on the final day and finished in a tie for 26th place with a two-over-par 218 (75-74-69).
- Playing as an individual, Rodaylin Mina recorded her best-ever score, finishing the three-day tournament with a five-over-par 223 (70-76-77).
UP NEXT:
San Francisco returns to the West Coast when it competes in the final tournament of the regular season at the Silverado Showdown, hosted by Oregon in Napa, Calif.
