FAIRFAX, Calif. – Despite a rain-shortened tournament, the University of San Francisco women's golf team earned a tie for fifth place with a seven-over-par 583 (296-287) at the Juli Inkster at Meadow Club Invitational Tuesday afternoon at Meadow Club.
 
TOURNAMENT RESULTS:

• As a team, San Francisco finished in the top five for the fourth time this season, with the last coming at The Clash at Boulder Creek on October 22-24.
• Hannah Zeman led San Francisco at the tournament, finishing with a one-over-par 145 (72-73) and a tie for 20th on the player leaderboard. With her first-round even-par 72, Zeman has posted five even or under-par rounds this season. She also ranked tied for fourth out of 75 competitors, shooting two-under-par on par-three scoring.
• Riana Mission followed in a tie for 25th with a two-over-par 146 (75-71). Mission earned her fourth top-25 finish of the season after rising 13 spots on the player leaderboard at the end of the second round.
• Tying her second-lowest overall score in a tournament this season, Toni Sottile finished in a tie for 42nd with a five-over-par 149 (77-72). After shooting a 77 in the first round, Sottile recovered and had an even-par 72 in the second round as she moved up the leaderboard. 

UP NEXT:
San Francisco returns to action on March 11-12 when it competes in the Silicon Valley Showcase, hosted by Santa Clara, at Green Hills Country Club.
