NAPA, Calif. –
Eva Pett shined on the final day, shooting a three-under-par 69 as the University of San Francisco women's golf team concluded the regular season with a 15th-place finish at the Silverado Showdown Wednesday afternoon at the Silverado Resort and Spa.
TOURNAMENT RESULTS:
- Pett climbed the player leaderboard throughout the three-day tournament, finishing in a tie for 32nd place with a six-over-par 222 (81-72-69). Starting the final round in 63rd place, Pett rose 31 spots as she shot a three-under-par 69 with five birdies.
- Yvonne Shang had a solid tournament, finishing in a tie for 48th with a nine-over-par 225 (76-74-75). Shang recorded nine birdies throughout the event and shot two-under-par on Par 5's.
- As a team, San Francisco totaled 28 birdies and 166 pars, ranking seventh out of the 16-team field.
NEXT UP:
San Francisco returns to action on Thursday, Apr. 18 when it begins postseason play in the West Coast Conference Championships in Bremerton, Wash.
