FORT WORTH, Texas - Suiting up for their second race of the year, the University of San Francisco triathlon team enjoyed a successful day as the team finished fourth overall at the Battle in the Fort on Sunday morning.
 
RACE HIGHLIGHTS:

• As a team, San Francisco finished fourth overall with 187 points behind Arizona, Arizona State and host TCU (205 points).
• Leading the pack individually, Josi Seerig shined in her first race as a Don as the East Tennessee State transfer finished fourth overall with a time of 1:03:19.
• In the swim portion of the race, Seerig was the highest finisher for the Dons as she placed third with a time of 09:39 while Maite Kuestner also finished tenth at 10:00. 
• In the bike portion of the race, Heidi Henry was the highest finisher at third overall with a time of 33:53 while Kuestner was close behind with a time of 34:07.
• In the run portion of the race, Seerig dominated again as she placed fifth overall with a time of 17:34.
