STANFORD, Calif. – Returning to the links for a three-day event this past weekend, the University of San Francisco women's golf team earned a 19th-place finish with a 51-over par in the Stanford Intercollegiate at the Stanford Golf Course.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:
- Eva Pett paced the Dons throughout the weekend, placing tied for 25th out of 100 golfers with an even-par 213 (72-72-69). Following back-to-back days of shooting a 72, Pett shined on the tournament's final round, recording five birdies and an eagle to finish with a two-under par 69.
- Erica Villegas registered her best-ever round this season, shooting a one-under par 70 in the second round on Saturday. Villegas totaled three birdies and her first-career eagle on the first hole to help move up the player leaderboard. She finished the tournament in a tie for 71st place, with a 10-over par 223 (77-70-76).
UP NEXT:
San Francisco concludes the first half of the 2025-26 when it competes in The Clash at Boulder Creek on Monday, Oct. 27 – Tuesday, Oct. 28, at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Las Vegas, Nev.
