STANFORD, Calif. - The University of San Francisco (USF) men's soccer team (8-4-1, 3-2 WCC) fell on the road to the nation's top team on Wednesday night as No. 1 Stanford (12-1-1, 5-1-0 ACC)Â defeated the Dons, 1-0, at Maloney Field at Laird Q. Cagan Stadium.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:
- San Francisco kept Stanford scoreless in the first half, with the two teams tied at 0-0 heading into the break.
- The Cardinal broke through on a goal from Shane de Flores in the 66th minute, which would prove to be the game-winning goal.

- Stanford remained strong on defense for the remainder of the match, holding on to take down the Dons, 1-0, on Wednesday night.
