SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The University of San Francisco men's soccer team (5-3-1, 0-2 WCC) could not climb back following three first half goals from No. 15 San Diego (7-1-3, 1-0-1 WCC) on Saturday night as the Toreros downed the Dons, 5-1, at Torero Stadium.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:
- San Diego controlled the first 45 minutes of action on their home pitch, scoring three goals in the opening frame. Steven Ramirez netted the first goal of the match for the Toreros in the 22nd minute, followed by goals from Iain Wagner in the 27th minute and Josh Martinez in the 33rd minute.
- Wasting no time to begin the second period, Cesar Bahena scored in the 56th and 60th minutes to extend the San Diego advantage to 5-0.
- Oscar Harris got San Francisco on the scoreboard in the 83rd minute, after Brayden Beason drew a foul near the edge of the box.
- The Dons would not be able to mount a comeback late as the Toreros picked up their first conference victory this season, 5-1.
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES:
- Beason led San Francisco with three shots on Saturday, his fifth match this season with three or more shots.
- Lucas Jones set a new season-high with six saves against the Toreros.
