SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The University of San Francisco volleyball team (6-20, 4-12) earned its third-straight victory with a 3-1 victory over Pacific (8-19, 2-14) on Saturday at War Memorial at the Sobrato Center.
 
San Francisco was led by a double-double from Crystal Galaviz, who registered 12 kills and 11 digs on the day. Bailey also added 11 kills to help the guide the offense. On the defensive end, Abby Wadas chipped in for with 21 digs to go with five blocks from Emilija Arsic.
 
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:

• San Francisco never trailed in the opening frame, winning the first set 25-18. The Dons led by as much as eight points and broke out to a commanding 17-9 lead. The defensive front paced the green and gold throughout the set with four blocks.
• Pacific edged San Francisco in the second set, taking the frame and evening the match, 25-22. The Tigers grabbed the lead for good at 6-5 in a set that was tied seven times.
• Firing back in the third set, the Dons jumped out to a 14-9 lead and held on for a 25-23 victory. The green and gold scored first in the frame, holding on late, fending off a Pacific 50 scoring run.
• San Francisco kept the momentum in the fourth and final set, used a .343 hitting percentage and 14 kills to power to a 25-23 set victory.

• Galaviz recorded her second double-double of the season with 12 kills and 11 digs while posting a .367 hitting percentage.
• Maeve Bailey impressed from the middle blocker position, leading the team with a .714 hitting percentage while hitting double-digit kills with 11.
• Sina Toroslu and Arisc added nine kills apiece and recorded double-digit points.
• As a team defensively, San Francisco totaled 12 blocks with Arsic and Toroslu combining for eight.
