NAPA, Calif. - The University of San Francisco men's golf team bounced back in its return to Northern California as the Dons secured a fifth-place finish at the Bridgestone Collegiate Invitational at Silverado Country Club in Napa to begin the week.

TOURNAMENT RESULTS:
- Starting the tournament off strong, three Dons were in the top 20 individually after the first two rounds in Napa. Henry Styles lead the charge for San Francisco to open play as the freshman was tied for tenth at 1-under (70-73) at the end of Monday. Brian Park was also close behind in a tie for 16th at even par (75-69) while Svante Palmgren tied for 20th at 1-over (77-68).
- Helping USF to rank in fourth after day one at 2-under, Renato Naula tied for 22nd at 2-over (72-74) after his first two rounds while Oscar Bredkjaer was one stroke behind, tied for 26th at 3-over (76-71).
- Moving into the final round on Tuesday, San Francisco shot 4-over as a group to finish fifth overall. In total, the Dons closed out the tournament at 2-over-866 (293-281-292).
- Individually, Palmgren and Park tied for 14th overall at even-par-216. Palmgren fired rounds of 77-68-71 and while Park shot 75-69-72. Next, Styles tied for 22nd overall at 3-over-219 70-73-76). Rounding out the lineup, Bredkjaer remained in a tie for 26th as he finished 4-over-220 (76, 71, 73) while Naula tied for 36th at 7-over-223 (72, 74, 77).
- Martín León also competed as an individual for San Francisco as he tied with Bredkjaer for 26th overall at 4-over-220 (75-74-71).
- San Francisco finished in the top five in Par 3's (fourth/3.13), Par 4's (tied for fourth/4.09) and Par 5's (tied for fifth/4.87), which included Park finishing second in Par 4's at 3-under (3.90 average). Additionally, Naula tied for seventh with 13 total birdies while Styles tied for first with 41 total pars. Palmgren, Leon and Bredkjaer were also close behind Styles with 39 total pars.
