CHULA VISTA, Calif. - Renato Paula picked up his first top 20 finish of the spring to begin the week as the University of San Francisco (USF) men's golf team finished 12^th at the R.E. Lamkin Invitational at San Diego Country Club.

TOURNAMENT RESULTS:

• Naula opened the tournament with a solid first round at two-under-par, collecting three birdies across his first 18 holes. He then began his second round with three straight birdies, but ultimately shot three-over-par in the round to sit at 1-over-par after day one.
• Moving into the final round on Tuesday, Naula shot two-under-par once again, racking up four more birdies along the way. The senior would go on to finish in a tie for 18^th overall at 1-under-215 (70, 75, 70). Notably, Naula tallied 10 birdies across his 36 holes, while also finishing tied for first in par 3's at two-under.
• Henry Styles was next behind Naula, tying for 38^th overall at 4-over-220 (73, 72, 75). Alongside Naula, the sophomore also recorded 10 birdies and tied for third in par 5's at 7-under.
• For the rest of the lineup, Nils Svanberg tied for 71^st at 11-over-227 (75, 76, 76), Svante Palmgren tied for 77^th overall at 12-over-228 (81, 74, 73), and William Svanström finished 89^th at 19-over-235 (76, 82, 77).

San Francisco will suit up next at the Bridgestone Collegiate Invitational, hosted by Central Michigan, at Silverado Country Club & Resort in Napa, Calif., on Monday, Mar. 23 and Tuesday, Mar. 24. Live results will be available via the team's schedule page.
