FAIRFIELD, Calif. - The University of San Francisco men's golf team wrapped up the 2024-25 season this weekend as the Dons finished seventh overall as a team at the WCC Championship at Green Valley Country Club.

Individually, Renato Naula and Oscar Bredkjaer both closed out the year with top ten finishes as both tied for ninth overall at 8-under.

TOURNAMENT RESULTS:

• San Francisco delivered a strong opening round as the Dons were just two strokes back (9-under) of first place after 18 holes. Individually, Naula paced the field after the first round as he impressed by shooting 7-under to lead by two strokes.
• Moving into the second round, the green and gold remained steady as a team as the finished Day One at 11-under. After 36 holes in Fairfield, Naula remained in the hunt for the individual title as he sat in sixth overall at 7-under through two rounds.
• USF did not perform as strong on Day Two as the Dons fell as a team, but Bredkjaer shot 3-under across his final round to climb into the top ten. San Francisco would go on to finish seventh overall as a team in the field at 20-under-844 (279-286-279). Notably, Naula (65-72-71) and Bredkjaer (70-69-69) both finished tied for ninth at 8-under-208.
• Martín León would also impress for San Francisco as the graduate student finished tied for 26^th overall at 2-under-214 (72-73-69). Four strokes behind León, Henry Styles tied for 37^th overall at 2-over-218 (72-76-70).
• Svante Palmgren rounded out the lineup for the green and gold as the sophomore tied for 47^th overall at 8-over-224 (75-72-77).
