SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Following a successful third season on the Hilltop with the University of San Francisco women's golf team,
Eva Pett has been named to the West Coast Conference Preseason Team, announced by the league on Thursday morning.
"Eva's selection to the conference preseason team highlights her talent and dedication," Head Coach
Sara Doell said. "Her tireless work and leadership as captain have been outstanding. I am very proud of all that she has done and look forward to seeing her final year as a member of this program."
Pett, earning her third consecutive preseason honor, competed in all 10 events during the 2024-25 season and recorded four top-15 finishes.
She claimed her first-ever individual title at The Clash of Boulder Creek, leading the green and gold to a near wire-to-wire first-place team finish. Pett shot a 15-under-par 201 during the tournament, recording her best-ever collegiate score. She finished under par in all three rounds and led the 96-player field in total birdies with 18.
Pett saved her best for last and earned a tie for first place on the individual leaderboard at the West Coast Conference Championship with a four-under-par 212. She entered a playoff with Oregon State's Raya Nakao and came up short on the second hole as Nakao won the individual title with a par putt. Pett excelled on Par 5s, shooting seven-under-par to lead the field while posting a tournament-high 14 birdies.
Following the season, she was named to the West Coast Conference All-Conference Team for the second time in her career.
