Men's Soccer Releases 2026 Schedule

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - Head coach Chris Brown and the University of San Francisco (USF) men's soccer program released its schedule for the upcoming 2026 season on Monday.
"We're incredibly excited to get the season underway," said Brown.
"We return a talented and competitive group that is hungry to compete with high expectations within the West Coast Conference (WCC) and nationally. Our incoming class brings talent, depth, and energy, making us an even stronger and more competitive team. Our team is fast, exciting, tough, and ready to take on anyone. We've put together a challenging nonconference schedule that will test us early and prepare us for what is one of the toughest conferences in the country. We can't wait to get on the road for the first two weeks to battle against four top teams before returning to Negoesco for our home opener. We have incredible fans on the Hilltop, and we have really felt their support over the last few years. We are primed to make them proud this season!"
Brown enters his sixth season at the helm of the green and gold after finishing 10-6-1 (5-4 WCC) in 2025. Last year, San Francisco reached 10 wins for the first time since 2017, securing a top four-finish in the conference for a second straight season.
Notably, San Francisco returns all four of its all-conference selections from last season as David Raphael (First Team), Brayden Beason (First Team), Matthew Duggan (Honorable Mention), and reigning WCC Freshman of the Year Ben Norris (also selected to the All-WCC Freshman Team) will all suit up for USF in 2026.
The 2026 schedule features 19 total matches - two exhibitions, eight home matches and eleven road matches. Beginning with familiar faces, the Dons will start their new season with an exhibition at Cal Poly on Aug. 9 before returning home to the Hilltop to host San José State in an exhibition at Negoesco Stadium on Aug. 16.
USF's first regular-season home match is set for Sept. 4 when the green and gold will welcome Air Force for a 7:00 pm battle. Other notable home matches include a showdown with local rival California on Sept. 16 as well as Seattle U's first trip to the Hilltop as members of the WCC on Oct. 24.
Overall, San Francisco will face four teams this season who ranked in the final 2025 United Soccer Coaches poll: Portland (8), San Diego (9), UNC Greensboro (20), and Kansas City (T-25).
