2001 SEASON - Second on the team in number of shots taken (28), earning five goals and one assist in an impressive year... shot the winning goal against San Jose State (10/16)... scored in consecutive games against Pepperdine (11/2) and Wyoming (11/4)... two goals in an overtime loss to Saint Mary's (11/9).
2000 SEASON - A fixture in the middle of the field for USF... played in 17 matches with 14 starting nods in her second season on the Hilltop... scored only goal of the season with a game-winner against Stanislaus State (10/18)... took 18 shots.
1999 SEASON - Saw action in nine matches with six starts before suffering a season-ending knee injury... scored lone goal of the season against Arkansas (9/18).
PREP CAREER - Had an outstanding career at Pleasant Valley HS, earning three all-conference honors and one league MVP award... was a big scoring threat as a striker... team won four section titles... also participated on the cross country and track squad.
OTHER SOCCER EXPERIENCE - Played club soccer with the California All-Stars and was team's top scorer on club trip to Europe.
PERSONAL - Catherine Elizabeth Harris... biggest sports thrill was traveling to places such as Germany, Austria, Hungary and Slovenia to play soccer... my goal for this season is to lead team to the WCC Championship... the best thing about being a student-athlete is the sense of belonging and family away from home... the best advice I could give to youngsters is to never stop dreaming or setting goals... grandfather, Carl Van Heuit, was an All-American football player at California and participated in the 1949 and 1950 Rose Bowls... parents are Terry and Cathy Harris... born March 11, 1981.
