Prep/Club Career: Was a two-time junior clubteam champion in the Czech Republic League with VK KP Brno duringthe 2007-08 and 2008-09 seasons… played for the VK KP Brnosenior team, which finished second in the Czech Republic Leagueduring the 2009-10 season and third the next year… playedfor the Czech Republic junior national team during the WorldChampionships qualifying tournament in 2009 in Antalya,Turkey…. was a member of the Czech Republic senior nationalteam during the qualifying tournament for the EuropeanChampionships in 2010 in Montpellier, France.   

Personal: Vendula Strakova… parents areTatana Strakova and Ivo Straka… born in December…career goals at USF are to play volleyball with great people, havefun and make new friendships… chose USF because she lovedthe campus when she visited and has a friend (Eva Krchova on theUSF track team) attending USF… favorite saying, “liveand have fun”… main interest outside of volleyball isspending time with friends… has an older brother Jan…majoring in economics.
