2018-19 (SENIOR): Named to the WCC All-Academic First Team...played in 31 games making one start...had his best season in the Green and Gold, averaged a career-best 8.7 ppg and 6.3 rebounds per game...scored 269 points with 195 rebounds...his 6.3 rebounds per game was eighth in the WCC while his 195 rebounds was ninth...his .619 field goal percentage was second in the conference...averaged 18.1 minutes per game and logged 560 minutes...recorded 13 double-digit scoring games this seasons started the year with three-straight games in double figures...recorded three double-doubles this season all coming in non-conference play...his first double-double game in the win over Sonoma State where he scored 18 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, was 9-for-10 from the field in that game...in the win over Harvard he finished with 12 points and 14 rebounds...In WCC play he averaged 6.8 points and 5.2 points per contest while shooting 53.1 percent from the field...against Saint Mary's on Feb. 2 he became the 16th player in USF history to score at least 800 points and grab at least 650 rebounds..scored a career-high 20 points in the win over Portland...in the win over BYU at home he scored 14 points with seven boards, he was 7-for-8 from the field.
2017-18 (JUNIOR): Named to the WCC All-Academic Second Team…Played in career-best 37 games making 35 starts for the Dons…the 37 games played is fourth most in a single season in USF history…finished fifth on the team averaging 8.2 points per game…with at least 100 field goal attempts he led the Dons with a .525 field goal percentage going 127-for-242…the .525 field goal percentage is a career-best and eight best in the WCC…the 127 made field goals…averaged a career-best 5.8 rebounds per game with a career-high 213 rebounds…scored 303 points on the year which was also a career-high…scored 10 or more points 14 times…had 10 or more rebounds seven times…was named the Continental Tires Las Vegas Classic Tournament MVP…recorded the Dons first double-double of the year in the win over Radford, scoring 10 points and grabbing 11 boards in the contest…scored a career-high 19 points against Duquesne on Dec. 22…three of his four double-doubles came in the CBI…he averaged 11.5 points and 10.8 rebounds in the CBI…opened the tournament with 16 points and 14 rebounds in the win over Colgate…finished with 15 points and 14 rebounds in the win over Campbell…and in the first game of the best of three championship series he scored 15 points and 14 rebounds against North Texas…finished the year with 847 minutes played, played a career-high 37 minutes in the win over Campbell.
2016-17 (SOPHOMORE): Started 27 of 33 games and averaged 6.8 points a game…also led the team in rebound average with a 5.5 per game mark…shot 50.5 percent (55-for-130) from the field, best on the team among players with 100 attempts or more…had nine double figure scoring games, including season-high 12 point efforts against San Francisco State and Loyola Marymount…led the team in rebounding in 16 of 33 games…had 10 or more boards in five games, including a season-high 11 vs. Alcorn State and Illinois State…made his first career start against Sacramento State and started 26 of the final 29 games of the season…had three double-doubles on the year vs. Illinois State (11-11), Santa Clara (10-10) and Loyola Marymount (12-10).
2015-16 (FRESHMAN): Saw action in all 30 games off the bench…averaged 2.4 points and 3.7 rebounds a game…scored a career high 10 points at BYU…pulled down four or more rebounds in 13 games, topped off by a career-best seven vs. Santa Clara and Pacific.
PRIOR TO USF: Graduated from Xavier College in Kew, Victoria…played for head coach Eric Minerve…was rated as the 19th-best high school prospect in Australia, according to AUSAHoops.com…in 24 games with the Waverly Falcons U-23 club team, he averaged 14.9 points, 10.3 rebounds and shot 49.8 percent from the field, including 50 percent from three-point range, in 24 games, helping Waverly capture the State U-23 Victorian Youth League Men’s Championship…was named the most valuable player of the Grand Finale despite being one of the youngest players in the tournament…played on Waverly’s 2013 U-18 team that won the National McDonald’s Classic, recognizing the top U-18 club team in Australia, and was named the tournament’s MVP…was one of only 24 players to receive an invitation to try out for the Australian Emus team in its attempt to qualify for the 2015 FIBA U-19 World Championship…parents are Gerard and Nina McCarthy…has two older brothers, Julian and Tim… born July 30, 1996 in Australia.
