AT USF (2001) - Enjoyed a terrific season in his first year atUSF... made his presence felt immediately at the plate and workingwith a young pitching staff... hit over .400 from 3/4/01 through4/16/01 before finishing with a .327 average to rate fourth on theteam, first among returning players... also ranked third on theteam in hits (56), fifth in RBI (24) and was second in walks(24)... turned in 17 multi-hit games and five games with three basehits... four multi-RBI games last season... hit homeruns inback-to-back games against Saint Mary's (4/13 - 4/14)... went3-for-6 with a double, RBI and scored four runs in a win againstBYU (2/6)... doubled in three consecutive games vs. San Jose State(2/21), UC Riverside (2/23) and at Fresno State (2/28)... went2-for-4 with a homerun and three RBI in a West Coast Conferencevictory against Saint Mary's (4/13) and followed it up with another2-for-4 homerun and two RBI the next day against the Gaels...played outstanding defense behind the dish and threw out 20baserunners.
