PREP CAREER: Played four years of baseball atJesuit High School... earned First Team All-League and Second TeamAll-State as a junior and senior... as a senior in '08 batted .391with 18 RBI and was 6-2 with a 1.55 ERA on the mound with twocomplete games and 37 strikeouts... for the 2007 season, batted.377 with 20 RBI and was 6-1, 3.13 ERA with 42 strikeouts on themound.
