Biography

AT USF 2008-09: (10.8 PPG, 3.5 RPG, 1.7 APG, 0.6 SPG): Turned in a strong freshman season, appearing in all 30 games with 18 starts... ranked second on the team in scoring (10.8)... ranked No. 3 among West Coast Conference free throw percentage (.833) and scoring (10.2) leaders during league contests... scored a season-high 22 points at San Jose State (12/22/08), converting on 8-of-12 from the field, including 3-of-4 from 3-point range... reached double digit scoring in nine of last 12 games, including a 17-point, 9-rebound performance in an overtime victory against Santa Clara (2/21/09)... scored 18 points to go along with a career-high five assists at Loyola Marymount (2/26/09)... shot .500 or better from the field 13 times and shot a career best .667 in three contests... swiped a career-high three steals to go along with 13 points at USC (12/1/08)... made three or more 3-pointers in four games... pulled down five or more rebounds five times... led USF in scoring four times and paced the Dons in rebounding twice and was the top assist man in three contests... earned the inaugural Rod Williams Free Throw Award after leading the Green and Gold at the charity stripe, converting on .742 (95-128).

PREP CAREER: Led the Oakland Section in scoring in 2007, averaging 16.8 points per game for Skyline High School... captured Oakland Athletic League First Team selection for the second straight season as a senior after averaging 23.9 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.0 steals per game... helped Skyline to a 15-14 record and a fourth place finish in the always tough OAL... Skyline posted a 19-12 overall record and a 7-3 mark in the OAL, falling in the quarterfinals of the sectional playoffs... in addition to leading the league in scoring as a junior, also dished out 162 assists (5.2 apg), grabbed 155 rebounds (5.0 per game), to go along with 111 steals (3.2 spg)... converted on .494 (172-348) from the floor and .505 (51-101) from the 3-point line... named to the 2007 All-Metro Second Team by the San Francisco Chronicle.
