CAREER: A three-time co-captain (2017-19) he finished his career with 744 points, 602 rebounds, 123 blocks and 105 steals...he is the only player in USF history to record at least 100 or more blocks, 600 or more rebounds and 100 or more steals...played in 132 games making 103 starts...the 132 games played is a USF record...his 123 blocks is fifth all-time at USF...shot 47.9 percent from the field for his career going 292-for-609...grabbed 201 offensive rebounds and 401 defensive rebounds for 602 career rebounds, he averaged 4.6 rebounds per contest...was named to the All-WCC First Team All-Academic Team three times and the CoSIDA District 8 First Team.
2018-19 (SENIOR): Earned WCC All-Academic First Team honors for the third time in his career...was also named to the CoSIDA Distric 8 First Team All-Academic Team...the only player in USF history with 100 or more blocks, 600 or more rebounds and 100 or more steals...he played in and started all 31 games this year and logged 778 minutes averaging a career-best 25.1 minutes per contest...scored 225 points averaging a career-bets 7.3 points per game...shot 45.2 percent from the field (84-for-186) and was 33.3 percent from beyond the arc (17-for-51)...led the Dons in rebounding four times this season...recorded a career-best nine games in double figures...recorded a double-double against UC Santa Barbara scoring 11 points and grabbing 12 rebounds...the 12 rebounds was a career-best...in WCC play he averaged 8.5 points per game and 4.4 rebounds per game...the 137 points scored by Renfro in WCC play was fourth most on the team...eight of his nine double figure games came in conference play...tied his career-high with 18 points in the win over Saint Mary's on Jan. 3 also had 10 rebounds for his second double-double in as many games...went 9-for-11 from the free throw line in that contest, the nine made free throws are a career best...had 12 points and three assists against No. 5 Gonzaga on Jan. 12.
2017-18 (JUNIOR): Earned WCC All-Academic Team honors for the second time in his career…played in 39 games making 29 starts in his junior campaign…the 39 games played ties teammates Frankie Ferrari and Jordan Ratinho for the USF single season record for games played…recorded career-highs in most statistical categories in 2017-18 including points (236), points per game (6.1), rebounds (205), blocks (43), and field goal percentage (.495)…started 29 games, including the final 21 games of the season…played in 911 minutes, a new career-high…went 94-for-190 from the field for a .495 field goal percentage which was second on the team by players with 100 or more attempts…was named to the Continental Tires Las Vegas Classic All-Tournament team...against Nevada in the tournament finale he scored 10 points while grabbing four rebounds and two blocks...scored 10 or more points seven times including a career-high 18 points in the season finale against North Texas in the CBI final game…finished the year with 43 blocks which was fifth in the WCC, no block was bigger than the block against Saint Mary’s All-American center Jock Landale in the Dons upset over the No. 15 Gaels on Feb. 15...scored his 500th career point against North Texas on Mar. 28...recorded his first career double-double in the loss to North Texas on Mar. 30, he scored 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds.
2016-17 (SOPHOMORE): First team WCC All-Academic selection…named team captain in his second season on the Hilltop…started all 33 games and averaged 5.2 points and 4.8 rebounds…shot 47.7 percent from the field, second-best on the team among players with 100 attempts or more…led the team in blocked shots (30) and steals (37) while his 66 assists ranked second behind point guard Mladen Djordjevic’s 73…led or shared the team leading in rebounding on seven occasions…registered four double-figure scoring games on the year vs. Illinois-Chicago (12), Sacramento State (10), Gonzaga (13) and BYU (10)…his 13 points vs. Gonzaga matched his career high…pulled down a season-high 10 rebounds vs. Abilene Christian…impressive stat line at Loyola Marymount included five blocks, six assists and two steals to go along with seven points.
2015-16 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in 29 games and made 10 starts…averaged 3.8 points and 2.9 rebounds…shot 51.2 percent (43-for-84) from the field…had 19 blocks on the year, second-best to Dont’e Reynolds’ 25…scored a career-high 13 points vs. Portland…also reached double-figures at Montana (10) and BYU (10)…pulled down a season-high seven rebounds vs. Eastern Washington.
HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL: Graduated from Sahuaro High School in Tucson, Ariz….head coach was Jim Henry…averaged 16.4 points, 9.1 rebounds, 4.1 assists and shot 45 percent from the field as a senior for the Cougars…averaged 11.7 points, 6.4 rebounds and shot 48 percent from the floor during his varsity career which spanned 73 games…scored a career high 32 points with 12 rebounds and six blocks against Apollo High School on Dec. 31, 2014…also scored 29 points against Sabino High School as a senior…was named to “The Five” Boys Division II All-Stars by AllSportsTucson.com…first-team All-Southern Arizona selection by the Arizona Daily Star and earned first team all-section honors by AZSports360.com….started his high school career as a 5-9 point guard on Sahuaro’s freshman team but transitioned to small forward on the varsity level following a tremendous growth spurt…an excellent student, he was ranked No. 1 in his class with a 4.0 grade point average as a junior…full name is Nathaneal Jordan Renfro…parents are Jeanne Hanford and John Bacon…has six siblings – Ciara, Brittany, Jonathon, Joshua, Naomi and Aliyah…born Dec. 11, 1996 in Tucson, Ariz.
