GENERAL CAPSULE: Will be looked to forconsistent production  in the post for USF this season...showed dominance in the low block at times last season... capablelow post scorer with excellent touch... boasts the best field goalpercentage of any returner.

1999-2000 SEASON: (5.3 PPG, 3.8 RPG, 0.5 APG, 0.7BPG): Provided spark off the bench in the USF low block... led theLady Dons in field goal percentage at .541 (53-98)... added herfirst double-double of the season with a season-high 14 point 10rebound performance against San Diego (2/11/00)... second on theteam in blocked shots (17)... fourth on team in rebounding (3.8)...four double-figure scoring outings on the season - Long Beach State(12), Cal State Fullerton (13), Pepperdine (11) and San Diego(14)... pulled down career-high 11 rebounds at Illinois State(11/28/99).

1998-99 SEASON: (4.9 PPG, 3.1 RPG, 0.4 APG, 0.7BPG): Emerged as the team’s starting center as she started 22of 27 games... posted some big games, including a career-high 24points versus Central Michigan... also had a nice game versusGonzaga with 14 points and a career-high nine boards... rankedsecond on the club in field goal percentage (.535, 54-101).

1997-98 SEASON: (3.0 PPG, 2.8 RPG, 0.3 APG, 0.7BPG): Had a breakout game at Portland with 12 points (5-6 FG, 2-2FT) and five rebounds in 17 minutes off the bench… also wasextremely impressive defensively against Pepperdine with four firsthalf blocks… played in all 14 of USF’s conferencegames after sitting out all 12 non-conference contests due to aninjured right kneecap.

Prep Career: Twice named her league’sco-Most Valuable Player... earned first team all-section honors...averaged 23.0 ppg, 12.0 rpg and 6.0 bpg as a senior at ParacleteHigh School... also won all-league honors in volleyball and was astandout in track & field and competed in the high jump, longjump and the shot-put.

PERSONAL: Kimberly Ann Whisler... goal for theseason is to intimidate opponents and be “crazy” on thecourt... favorite quotes are “whatever you do, give it allyou’ve got,” and “never let anyone tell youno”... hobbies include horseback riding, spending time withfriends and watching Disney movies... favorite movie is Beauty andthe Beast... best feel-good music is country... all about“Country Wednesday”... parents are Bob and LynnWhisler... born February 3, 1979.
