Opening Tip
USF (2-0, 0-0 WCC) returns home to the Hilltop Wednesday night to face the Troy Trojans (2-2, 0-0 Sun Belt) in a non-conference game in War Memorial at the Sobrato Center. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m. The Dons are coming off a 75-63 victory at UC Santa Barbara last Wednesday while the Trojans dropped a 71-67 decision at Eastern Illinois on Monday night to start a three-game road trip which will take the team to Ypsilanti, Mich., San Francisco and Honolulu.

Series History with Troy
Wednesday's game marks the first-ever meeting between USF and Troy. The Dons are 2-2 all-time against current Sun Belt members (1-0 Appalachian State; 1-0 Georgia Southern; 1-1 Texas-Arlington).

The Start
USF is off to a 2-0 start for the fourth consecutive season. Last year, the Dons opened with wins over Illinois-Chicago and Rice before falling to Fresno State. The last time the Dons won three straight games to start a season was in 2014-15 when USF posted wins over South Carolina State, Notre Dame de Namur and Hawaii.

Getting Busy
After easing into the 2015-16 season by playing two games in 12 days, USF's next six games will be played in a 13-day window, culminating with a game against San Francisco State on Dec. 6 at Kezar Pavilion.

RBIII
Two games into the season, senior Ronnie Boyce III is averaging 29.5 points per game after scoring 28 points in USF's season opening win against Illinois-Chicago followed by a 31-point outburst at UC Santa Barbara. Both performances bettered his previous career high. The lone senior on the Dons' roster, Boyce has made 22-of-40 shots (55.0) from the field, including 7-of-17 (41.1) from distance. Against UC Santa Barbara, he also pulled down a career-high 10 rebounds for his first career double-double. Boyce currently leads the WCC in scoring (29.5) and three-pointers made per game (3.5).
