The USF women's soccer team continues its season-long seven game road stretch with a pair of matchups at Pac-12 opponents this weekend in Tucson, Ariz. The Dons will open the tournament by meeting Arizona State on Friday for a 4:30 p.m. kickoff. USF then has a 1:30 p.m. tilt lined up against Arizona on Sunday afternoon.

USF (2-4-0) is looking to snap a four game skid - all road losses - as they start seeing the end of their road swing on the horizon. After this weekend's games in Arizona, the Dons play at Cal (Sept. 16) before returning home to host UC Davis (Sept. 18).

With a team best four goals already, senior midfielder Amanda Whittle has established a new career high. Whittle, who is tied for 3rd in the WCC, scored in USF's first three games and added a goal at Vanderbilt this past weekend. Coming into the year, Whittle's season high was three goals in 2015.

Freshman goalkeeper Makayla Presgrave has been busy in the first six games of regular action of her career as she helps anchor the USF defense in the early going. Presgrave leads the West Coast Conference with 34 saves so far, including a season-high nine saves against Cal Poly on Aug. 26, the most for a Don keeper since Madalyn Schiffel's 10 stops against Fresno State in 2012.

Arizona State (3-1-1) split a pair of home contests this past weekend with a 3-0 win over Columbia followed by a 3-1 loss to Denver. Jazmarie Mader leads the Devils with 4 goals in 5 games and a team high 18 shots. Adriana Orozco has contributed two goals and a pair of assists as well. Overall, ASU is outscoring opponents 11-5 so far while holding a 97-47 advantage in shots.

Meanwhile, Arizona (3-1-1) posted shutouts in both of their games this past weekend, blanking Denver 3-0 and Columbia 2-0. Lex Selman Richards has paced UA offensively with 3 goals and a pair of assists to her credit, while Cali Crisler has also tallied 3 goals on the year. The Wildcats are outshooting opponents 95-40 over their five games while holding a 13-6 edge in goals. UA is receiving votes in the most recent NSCAA national poll.

This weekend's action will be streamed live Arizona's streaming channel on www.Pac-12.com. Links for all game multimedia are available on the USF women's soccer schedule page.

Looking ahead, the Dons wrap up their nonconference road slate with a matchup at Cal on Sept. 16 before finally returning to Negoesco Stadium to host UC Davis on Sept. 18. West Coast Conference play waits on the horizon when USF travels to San Diego on Sept. 29.
