TEMPE, Ariz. – The University of San Francisco men's basketball team will suit up in a different zip code for the first time this season on Saturday, when the Dons travel to Ned Wulk Court/Wells Fargo Arena to battle No. 20 Arizona State.

The Dons (3-2) are coming off a 79-72 defeat at the hands of UC Santa Barbara last Tuesday, the finale of a season-long five game homestand.  USF went 6-for-33 from beyond the arc, and 2-for-17 after the intermission, as the Gauchos went on a 15-3 run late in the second half to hand the Dons their second loss of the season.

Saturday's contest will be a homecoming of sorts for two members of the USF basketball program.  Junior forward Nate Renfro (Tucson, Ariz./Sahuaro HS) and Associate Coach Todd Golden (Phoenix, Ariz./Sunnyslope HS) return to their home state.  Renfro averaged 11.7 points and 6.4 rebounds for the Cougars in 73 career games.  This is the first time he has played a game in his home state in college.  Golden lettered three years for Sunnyslope before going on to play at Saint Mary's.
