SAN FRANCISCO – Miciah Madison of the University of San Francisco women's soccer team is having a breakout season in her junior campaign.  The Dons forward has been a huge factor as the Dons enter Sunday's contest 8-5-1 and on pace for just the ninth 10-win season in program history.
 
In this week's spotlight on Madison, featured in the latest episode of USF's cable television show "Behind the Mask," she talks about her upbringing and the sacrifices her mother made to help her further her soccer career, her growth on and off the soccer field, and her commitment to the classroom.
 
In 2018, Madison has tallied eight assists so far this season. That's tied for first in the West Coast Conference, and eighth overall in the nation.  She's already moved into a tie at 10^th all-time with 10 career assists, and her eight assists this season are tied for fourth all-time in a single season.
 
On Sunday, Madison and the Dons are back in action when they host Pacific for a WCC showdown.  The game is slated for a 1:00 p.m. kick off at Negoesco Stadium. USF is looking to extend its two-game conference unbeaten streak after going 1-0-1 last week in Southern California.
