Last time out against San Jose State: Back in February these two teams faced off against one another twice on a weekend. They would split the two games, with the Dons winning the first game in convincing fashion, 10-0. In the fourth inning of that game the Dons would tag the Spartan for six runs, highlighted by a grand slam from Michael Perri. Riley Ornido would get his first win of the season, going seven innings, notching three strike outs and allowing no hits. San Jose State would even up the season series with a 6-1 win in the next game against USF.

The Key Three: The top of the order, Jonathan Allen, Riley Helland and Michael Perri have been catalysts of the offense this year. The three all own above .300 batting averages, while being in the top-four in hits, batting average, RBIs and runs. With those three getting on base, they have provided clean-up hitter, Ross Puskarich, many opportunities to drive runs in, which the senior has done to the tune of 26 RBIs.

WCC Top-10ers: The three at the top for the Dons boast some impressive stats offensively, in conference. Mike Perri and Jon Allen rank amongst the top-five in conference in batting average, slugging percentage, runs scored, hits doubles and total bases. Joining those two in conference success is Riley Helland, who breaks into top-10 in batting average, hits and doubles. Ross Puskarich sits just behind Perri in the top-five in RBIs with 27.
