The University of San Francisco women's golf team is back in action this week co-hosting the Juli Inkster at Meadow Club Invitational with San Jose State. The Dons are fresh off a ninth place finish at the BYU at Entrada Classic where they were led by their underclassmen in a strong finish in the final round.

Sara Doell. "We have a strong field of teams and the weather looks great for our event. The golf course is an awesome shape, as well. We return to this event with
Samantha Gong being the defending champion from last year, it is always awesome to have the chance to defend your title. The team looks great and I think we can be very competitive in this field."

The Course
The 54-hole tournament will be played at the par-71, 6,157 yard Meadow Club. The golf course, as designed by Alister MacKenzie and Robert Hunter in 1927, "utilizes meandering creeks, subtle elevations changes and broad vistas."
The Field
The Dons will cohost the tournament with No. 32 San Jose State, joining the two teams will be 10 other teams to make up a 12-team field. The field boasts seven top-100 teams in the latest GolfStat.com rankings, including Pepperdine (No. 26), Cal (47), Sacramento State (73), Tulsa (79), Washington State (81), and Rutgers (83). Also completing will be Boise State, Nevada, and Minnesota.
The Dons
This is the third tournament of the spring for the Dons. USF's young lineup is returning to a course where they have had a tremendous amount of success. At this course last season,
Samantha Gong was co-medalist after climbing seven spots on the leaderboard. The Dons finished that tournament in second. Sophomore
Pearl Rojanapeansatith is on fire for the Dons. She finished the BYU at Entrada Classic with a 2-under 70 in the final round to finish in the top-20. Freshman
Jade Siphomsay is coming off her best collegiate tournament with a top-30 finish.
