Ashley Humphrey was named the West Coast Conference Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 23-29 after scoring three goals in two games and helping the Dons to a 1-0-1 finish to non-conference play.
Â
Her first goal of the week came versus Cal State Fullerton on Friday. Her tally in the 35th minute off the rebound of Micah Madison's penalty kick was the one that started the Dons' comeback from being down 3-0, where they'd eventually tie the Titans, 3-3.
Â
Sunday, she posted her second career multi-goal game, scoring twice against UC Davis. She put the Dons up, 1-0, in the 18th minute, then notched the eventual game-winner in the 62nd minute. For the week, Humphrey finished with six points on three goals while tallying five shots with three on goal for a .600 shots on goal percentage.

Humphrey and the Dons begin WCC play at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday at Saint Mary's. They return home to face Loyola Marymount on Oct. 9. Fans can purchase tickets and find all live coverage links on USFDons.com.
