The University of San Francisco men's basketball team is back on the road taking on another Pac-12 opponent. The Dons will travel to Eugene, Ore., where they will take on the Oregon Ducks on Thursday at 5:00 p.m. Thursday's game will be televised on the Pac-12 Network with Rich Burk handling play-by-play duties and Eldridge Recasner serving as analyst.

USF AT A GLANCE
• USF is 5-3 on the season. On Sunday they saw their season-best three-game winning streak snapped when Cal beat the Dons on a last second 3-point field goal. USF led that game for 39:20 before the Bears' Makale Foreman made his first field goal of the afternoon to defeat USF 72-70 at Haas Pavilion. In "true" road games this season the Dons are 2-1.
• 25-3: With the loss to the Golden Bears, USF fell to 25-3 in the Golden Era when holding the lead with 5:00 minutes to play. The only other losses came at the hands of Gonzaga at home last season and at the WCC Semifinals last March.
• USF enters Saturday's contest averaging 78.6 points per game while shooting .393 percent from the field. USF is +10.9 in scoring margin. USF's 78.6 ppg ranks fourth in the WCC and 95th in the nation. USF's opponents are averaging 67.8 points per game, while shooting .399 from the field.
• Dons From Distance: USF continues its torrid pace from long range. The Dons have taken 242 attempts from beyond the arc, connecting on 95 of them. USF's attempts rank second in the nation behind Liberty's 243 attempts. The Dons lead the nation in made 3-point field goals and are third in 3-point field made per game at 12.14. USF is holding their opponents to 29.1 percent from distance and 4.25 made 3-point field goals per contest.
• Were Going Streaking: USF is on a historic streak from beyond the arc. The Dons have gone seven consecutive games making 10 or more 3-point field goals. USF extended that streak on Sunday when they went 10-for-23 from beyond the arc against the Golden Bears. The only contest this season USF hasn't made at least 10 3's came in the season opening loss at UMass-Lowell when the Dons went 5-for-26. The previous high for consecutive games with 10 or more 3's game came last season when the Dons did it four-straight times Nov. 16 - Nov. 26.
• A head-scratcher: In the Dons loss at Cal last Sunday, USF shot 46.9 percent from the field (23-for-49). Since Golden and company arrived to the Hilltop the Dons are 55-17 in games they shoot 46% or better - 16-5 since Golden took over as head coach.

Oregon leads the all-time series with USF, 8-2. The two schools last met on Nov. 24, 2013, with the Ducks coming away with a 100-82 win at Matthew Knight Arena. Eight of the nine meetings took place between the 1947-48 and 1959-60 seasons. Oregon claimed wins in 1958-59 (64-53) and 1959-60 (67-58) with USF's last victory in the series coming in the 1952-53 season, 61-57. Oregon also claimed victories in 1951-52 (55-49), 1950-51 (59-49), 1948-49 (56-51) and 1947-48 (48-46). USF scored a 62-58 decision in 1948-49. At Oregon the Dons are 2-3, and 0-1 at Matthew Knight Arena.
About the Ducks
Receiving votes in both the AP and Coaches' Poll, the Oregon enters Thursday's contest with a 4-1 overall record and are 1-0 in the Pac-12. The Ducks led by 11th year head coach Dana Altman, return just four letter winners from last year's team, but do bring back three starters. Oregon is averaging 77.6 points per game while shooting 47.4 percent from the field. Their opponents are averaging 68.4 points per game while shooting 42.7 percent from the floor. Oregon averages 6.8 3-point field goals per game, their opponents 7.6. Three players are averaging in double figures led by redshirt senior forward Eugene Omoruyi's team-high 19.6 ppg. Against the Huskies, four players finished in double figures led by Chris Duarte's 14. N'Faly Dante had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Last Time Out Versus Oregon
(From USFDons.com on Nov. 24, 2013) Cold-shooting plagued USF in a 100-82 loss to 17th-ranked Oregon on at Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene, Ore.
The Dons, who came into the game shooting 50.8 percent from the field through its first five games of the season, managed to shoot just 36.8 percent from the floor, including 28.8 percent from three-point range (8-for-28) in suffering its third loss in four games.
The loss evens the Dons record at 3-3 overall while the Ducks remain undefeated at 4-0. Junior Kruize Pinkins, who had a career-high 20 points recorded his first career double-double, scoring a team-high 20 points to go along with 11 rebounds.
Elgin Cook led all Duck scorers with 18 points while Damyean Dotson added 17. Oregon shot 55 percent from the field and nailed 11-of-19 three-pointers in notching their fourth consecutive victory to start the season.
USF trailed by just five at halftime at 40-35 but were outscored in the second frame by a count of 60-47.
