WSOC | Dons Add Southern California Midfielder for 2021

SAN FRANCISCO – Head Jim Millinder is pleased to announce the addition of Elle Soleau (Huntington Beach, Calif./Huntington Beach High School) who signed a National Letter of Intent to attend the University of San Francisco for the fall of 2021.

Soleau is a 5-foot, 6-inch midfielder with a wealth of experience playing at the club level. Most recently she has been playing for the Pateadores U-17 team for head coaches Daniel Richards and Neil Powell.

"Elle is an outstanding athlete who loves to compete," said Millinder. "She is an outstanding player in the midfield who is very good in so many aspects of the game. I can't wait for her to arrive on the Hilltop. She will be impactful!"

Off the pitch, Soleau was an excellent student after being named to the honor roll with a 4.0 grade point average. The tremendous athlete was also a member of the surf team at Huntington Beach High School.

She was also a member of the New Zealand Surf Lifesaving Program. There she would compete in Junior Lifeguard Regional competitions where she took first place in the distance run and second place in the sand sprints.

Soleau will be joining fellow incoming freshmen Emmie Paulson, Allison Kamansky, and Kira Ybarra this fall.
