
BASE | Luke Keaschall Earns Freshman All-American Honors

SAN FRANCISCO – University of San Francisco baseball freshman infielder Luke Keaschall has been named a Freshman All-American by Collegiate Baseball as announced by the publication.
Keaschall, West Coast Conference Co-Freshman of the Year and First Team All-WCC honoree, is the 11th player since 1995 to earn Freshman All-American honors, the first since Jesse Barron earned the distinction in 2020.
Keaschall played in 53 games, making 51 starts at second for the Dons. He hit .320 on the year, which was 15th in the WCC. His 64 hits were third-best in the conference. Of his 64 hits, 19 were extra base hits, including 11 doubles, four triples, and four home runs. He finished third on the Dons with 30 runs driven in.
The native of Watsonville, Calif., had 17 multi-hit games, including a perfect 4-for-4 day against Portland a 5-for-6 outing against San Diego.
