SEASIDE, Calif. – Competing in their second tournament this fall, the University of San Francisco women's golf team finished eleventh as a team at The Molly Collegiate Invitational after totaling a 65-over-929 across three rounds on Monday and Tuesday.
TOURNAMENT RESULTS:
- Finishing tied for thirty-first, Annika Borrelli led the pack for the Dons after shooting 14-over-230 in the tournament. Tying her teammate, Hannah Zeman also finished tied for thirty-first after totaling a 14-over-230 on the course.
- Just a few spots behind, Riana Mission tied for thirty-fifth with a 15-over-231. Rounding out the group, Toni Sottile finished tied for sixtieth place by shooting 22-over-238 while Jade Siphomsay placed seventy-second with a 26-over-242.
- As a team, the Dons sat in ninth place after rounds one and two on Monday with a total of 40-over-616. After tallying a 313 on Tuesday to close out the competition, USF ultimately fell to eleventh place overall to finish with a 65-over-929.
CATCHING UP WITH COACH DOELL:
"This was a tough week for us as we certainly left a lot of shots out there. We struggled on the par fives and on the green. That being said, there were definitely areas that we looked great and every member of the team had a string of holes or a round that was emblematic of our potential. There is a lot of golf to be played this season and I'm looking forward to seeing how the team bounces back. We will get back to work this week to prepare for the Ron Moore Collegiate next weekend."

USF will play in their third tournament of the season when they travel to Highlands Ranch, Colo. for the Ron Moore Intercollegiate Invitational.
