SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The University of San Francisco men's basketball team has officially announced that the previously scheduled WCC opener between USF and Saint Mary's, which was postponed due to COVID-19 protocols within the Gaels program, has been rescheduled to Thursday, Feb. 17 at 7:00 pm on NBC Sports Bay Area+.
This meeting will mark the second matchup of the season between the Gaels and Dons as SMC narrowly defeated USF, 72-70, on Thursday, Jan. 27.
For fans who plan to attend the contest, the following guidelines must be adhered to inside of University Credit Union Pavilion:
- All fans over the age of 12 must show proof of vaccine or a negative COVID-19 test.
- For those showing proof of a negative tests, the parameters are:
- An antigen test must have been administered within 24 hours of the event
- A PCR test must have been administered within 48 hours of the event
- Fans must stop at a COVID-19 vaccine verification station UCU Pavilion in order to show proof of vaccination or a negative test in exchange for a unique wristband. A wristband combined with a game ticket will be needed for entry into UCU Pavilion.
- Masks MUST be worn at all times inside UCU Pavilion unless actively eating or drinking.
