Dons Announce Schedule Changes for Weekend Series in Phoenix

PHOENIX, Ariz. -- There will be no shortage of baseball at Phoenix Municipal Stadium this weekend as the San Francisco Dons and Arizona State Sun Devil baseball programs will welcome the Missouri Tigers to the Valley to join both teams in a jam-packed series over the next three days.
Due to forecasted inclement weather and below-freezing temperatures in Columbia, Mo., over the next couple of days, the three teams reached an agreement that would allow the Tigers to come to sunny Phoenix and get a pair of games in rather than lose a weekend of action.
The Dons and the Sun Devils will still play a three-game series, and both teams will still play four games over the weekend – the caveat being that the fourth game will now be against the Tigers for both teams. As a result, the schedule of games for the weekend will now feature doubleheaders on Saturday and Sunday. San Francisco will play its doubleheader on Saturday and ASU will now play a doubleheader on Sunday.
The updated schedule for the weekend is as follows:
Friday, March 11
5:30 p.m. PT – USF vs. Arizona State
Saturday, March 12
12 p.m. PT – USF vs. Missouri
6 p.m. PT – USF vs. Arizona State
Sunday, March 13
12 p.m. PT – USF vs. Arizona State
TBD – Arizona State vs. Missouri
