TEMPE, Ariz. - Hungry to continue their winning ways on the road, the University of San Francisco men's basketball team (5-2) will head back to the Phoenix area this weekend as the Dons will face Arizona State (4-2) at Desert Financial Arena in a Sunday matinee.

DONS AT A GLANCE:
- Returning to Chase Center this past Sunday, San Francisco defeated Minnesota, 76-58, to extend their win streak to a season-high three games this past Sunday, Nov. 26. Individually, Jonathan Mogbo recorded his second straight double-double as he scored a career-high 21 points on 9-of-15 shooting in addition to grabbing 10 rebounds. Additionally, Marcus Williams shined with a season-high 20 points on 9-of-14 from the floor as he and Mogbo became the first pair of Dons this season to both score 20+ points in the same game.
- After guiding the Dons to a 2-0 week, Ryan Beasley earned WCC Freshman of the Week honors on Monday as he averaged 15.5 points and 3.0 steals in wins over Purdue Fort Wayne and Minnesota. Notably, this honor marked the first Player of the Week award for a Don this season.
- Within the conference, Mogbo sits atop the leaderboard in field goal percentage (72.7 percent) and steals per game (1.9). Impressively, the Missouri State transfer also ranks in the top five in the WCC in rebounds per game (third, 9.0) and points per game (fourth, 15.7). Overall, Mogbo remains one of the nation's most efficient players from the field as his field goal percentage is fourth-best in Division I.
- As a team, the Dons lead the WCC in field goal percentage (50.6 percent), assists per game (17.3), steals per game (10.14), turnover margin (3.57) and scoring margin (+20.3). Across Division I programs, the green and gold are 17th in the country in scoring margin and 21st in field goal percentage and steals per game.
- San Francisco continues to creep up the KenPom rankings as the Dons head into Sunday's game ranking at No. 69, good for second best in the WCC behind Gonzaga (10).
- The Dons are headed to Arizona for the second time this season after playing in the inaugural Arizona Tip-Off tournament two weeks ago. Competing at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, San Francisco finished in third place as the Dons narrowly fell to Grand Canyon in their first game on Nov. 17 before rallying back to defeat DePaul in their second game on Nov. 19.
SCOUTING THE SUN DEVILS:
- Arizona State heads into Sunday's contest seeking a third consecutive victory following a double-digit 78-61 victory over Sam Houston State this past Wednesday. In the win, fifth-year guard Jose Perez led the charge for the Sun Devils with 24 points and 8 rebounds on 9-of-13 shooting.
- Junior guard Frankie Collins leads the Pac-12 in steals per game, averaging 3.5 steals per contest this season, which is also tied for the second-highest average in Division I.
- Former Don Zane Meeks will be matched up against San Francisco for the first time since his transfer into Arizona State. Meeks, now a senior, is averaging 3.6 points and 1.2 rebounds per game for the Sun Devils so far in the young season.
SERIES HISTORY:
For a third consecutive season, the Sun Devils and the Dons will face off against one another, with Sunday's game being the 13
th all-time meeting between the two programs. The all-time series record between the two teams stands at an even 6-6 heading into the weekend. San Francisco is looking to continue its recent success against Arizona State having won its last two games against the Sun Devils, with the most recent being a dominant 97-60 statement victory against then-ranked No. 25 ASU on the Hilltop last December.
