SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - The University of San Francisco Athletics Department is pleased to announce its newest partnership with Catholic Charities San Francisco.
As one of the largest, most comprehensive human services agencies, Catholic Charities San Francisco reaches more than 70,000 people annually in the San Francisco, San Mateo, and Marin Counties. They are an integral part of Bay Area communities and play a key role in keeping these neighborhoods diverse, productive, safe, and healthy through more than 30 programs and social justice advocacy.
"We are thrilled to form a partnership with Catholic Charities San Francisco," said Frank Allocco, Senior Excecutive Associate Athletic Director for San Francisco Athletics. "The mission of this organization is in sync with USF's vision to "Change the World From Here". We are looking forward to a vibrant relationship with CYO programs throughout the San Francisco region."
Catholic Charities has been supporting families, aging and disabled adults, and youth through social service and opportunities for healthy growth and development since 1853. Rooted in their faith traditions of charity and justice, Catholic Charities is committed to changing lives in San Francisco by creating lasting solutions to the pressing challenges within our community.
Since its inception, Catholic Charities San Francisco has reached out to all people in need regardless of religion, race, creed, or gender. In fact, a majority of their clients and employees are not Catholic. Their clients represent all of us: individuals, families, children, adults, and seniors. Catholic Charities San Francisco welcomes everyone with compassion, understanding, and respect.
San Francisco Athletics will feature the Catholic Charities San Francisco logo on courtside signage, arm stanchions and ribbon board signage in addition to promoting the company's mission during commercial breaks and official San Francisco Athletics events.
